Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) is a strategic international alliance of which Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is the Chair. It was established on 9th August 2016 during the 8th University Presidents Forum at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with the purpose of connecting technology-focused institutions of higher learning in Asia. Its mission is to support member universities in achieving world-class quality of education and research in engineering and technology through strategic international alliance.

ATU-Net Logo Description
Design: Earth associated with white circles. The white circles symbolize member universities in the ATU-NET and all of member universities are interconnected among each other. The globe insinuates ATU-NET are able to achieve worldclass quality in term of education and research in engineering and technology through strategic international alliance.
Font: Azonix font is used for “ATU-NET”. Azonix is especial, decorative and elegant look with the sharp edge which signifying the objectives of ATU-NET are also sharp and explicit so that every parties can achieve the goals. However, the “Asia Technology University Network” is using sans serif font, named “Tahoma”. “Tahoma” is a simple and friendly font which can also contrast the especial of font “ATU-NET” and the globe.
Colour: Combination of a very dark blue and light blue are main colour used in the logo. Blue colour is selected due to it represents both the sky and the sea, and is associated with open spaces, inspiration and intelligence. ATU-NET is an open space to share the knowledge (intelligence) and inspiration either in academic, research project or entrepreneurship practice. Gradient overlay of light blue and dark blue plays the most important role in term of aesthetic.
