Description:
The ability to communicate effectively across cultures requires multicultural competencies. These include cultural awareness, sensitivity and intelligence, and mindful intercultural communication, among others. Global Culture Corner is a series of online programmes curated for students of higher learning to help them enhance their skills as global leaders. It is a student-centred interactive platform for students to network with students from other countries, to share and learn about cultures.
At the end of the programme, students should be able to
i. learn about other culture’s values, norms and expectations
ii. talk about their own culture to people of other cultures
iii. interact and network with students of other cultures

Targeted Participants: Students from ATU-Net member institutions (OGC Culture and Comm institutions – UTM, UTHM, UTB, UMT, Daffodil, UNAIR)
Targeted number of participants: Max 30 (5 students/institution)

Fees: No registration fees; exclusively
for ATU-Net member institutions
e-Certificates are provided (i.e. Certificate of Appreciation for speakers and Certificate of Participation for students; Certificate of Award – Best Group Presentation)
